Julie Harris was born in Michigan and raised in California. Shortly after college, she moved to Washington State, where she has lived for most of her adult life. Her work experiences include dog training, sheep herding, accounting, writing marketing scripts, and climbing (stumbling, tripping) up the corporate ladder.
