Chris Hoffman works as an organization development consultant and counselor. A graduate of Yale University, Chris also holds a Masters degree in Community Mental Health (Northeastern University) and an M.B.A. (University of Colorado) as well as a certificate in acupressure massage and a license as a professional counselor. His poems have been published in chapbooks and national journals, and in the anthology "The Soul Unearthed: Celebrating Wildness and Personal Renewal Through Nature." He enjoys performing his work both solo and in jazz and dance collaborations. The Afro-pop band Monkey Siren has recorded his lyrics on two CD's. He has published professional articles in the areas of team development and group process. Chris is also the author of "The Hoop and the Tree: A Compass for Finding a Deeper Relationship with All Life", a prose work on ecopsychology and spirituality, and has taught ecopsychology at Naropa University. Chris is a long-time student of Zen and T'ai chi and is interested in traditional healing practices and sacred dance. He lives with his wife and son in a zone of ponderosa and sage woodland along the eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains by a tributary of the South Platte River. By This Author |
